Marble Utilities is an owner-managed civils subcontractor. We work for main contractors and utility contractors on electricity, telecoms, data-centre, public lighting and water projects, with our own crews, vans, tippers and mini excavators.

Three things that shape how we work
We work inside your contract
Our customers hold the contract with the client. We deliver a defined scope of civils works within it, to your programme, your client’s specification and the conditions for each site.
We work where people live and work
Our work runs through footpaths outside homes, busy city streets, business parks and secure sites. That shapes how we plan: route walks before we start, safe routes past every opening, and openings made safe at the end of each working window.
We record as we go
Most of what we build is buried by the end of the day. Each location therefore gets its own photographs and measurements while the work is open, not reconstructed afterwards.
Experience
Where our experience comes from
Our current and recent work covers telecoms and fibre networks, data-centre connections, public lighting with its electricity ducting, and water-network reinstatement.
2020
Marble Utilities Limited incorporated in Ireland.
2024
Fibre civils begin on the SIRO and National Broadband Ireland rollouts, including duct routes for data-centre connections.
2026
Public lighting civils on Dublin City Council’s upgrade programme, including column replacement.
Accountability
Who you deal with
- A director as your contact
- Every enquiry and every subcontract has a director as the commercial contact.
- Project management
- Each project is planned with the main contractor, walked before work starts, and has its records checked before they are issued.
- Crew leaders on site
- Each crew is led by a crew leader who briefs the method statement, keeps the site safe and captures the records.
Plant and equipment
Our own fleet, with specialist plant hired in
Our crews run their own tipper trucks, crew vans and mini excavators, and carry cable locators and signal generators for finding buried services.
Lorry-mounted cranes, vacuum excavators and other specialist plant are brought in for the jobs that need them.
